Gautam serves as Chief Technology Advisor at Devengor, LLC. In that role, he provides leadership advice for the company’s information technology solutions. He collaborates with technical subject matter experts and project leaders to define strategy, deliver the right approach, and find the best possible solution for our federal and state customers.

Gautam has over 18 years of experience helping clients manage risk, plan for changing threat environments, and achieve business success. His in-depth technical background combined with his global expertise in C-suite security consulting allows him to fully understand complex challenges and identify solutions for a broad set of industry environments, including Banking, Finance, Private Equity, Retail, and Pharmaceutical sectors.  

Gautam also serves as Chief Technologist – Cyber Defense at Booz Allen Hamilton. Previously, he held a Director level Leadership position at a Fortune 50 company. He was responsible for leading a team of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals assessing security effectiveness in areas such as Incident Response, threat and vulnerability management, and security threat intelligence. He was accountable for reporting findings to the CFO that could cause significant financial impact to the company. He also worked for Big 4 consulting, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of Security Incident Response roadmaps, Security Operation Centers (SOC), architecting SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management), End Point Security and monitoring solutions, and assessing risk measured against frameworks such as NIST and COBIT.

Gautam earned an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He also has a master’s degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Mangalore University. He is also a holder of a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
